1. Introduction to the plan

The SUP Montréal+ Extended Warranty (the “Plan”) extends the original manufacturer’s warranty of your product for an additional twelve (12) months from the date of expiry of the manufacturer’s warranty.

This plan offers you the same coverage as the manufacturer's, namely protection against manufacturing or material defects that occur under normal conditions of use.

The plan is administered by Boutique SUP Montréal inc., 8400 boulevard Saint-Laurent, suite 206, Montréal (Québec), H2P 2L9.

2. Your responsibilities

To maintain the validity of the plan, you must:

Keep your proof of purchase for the product and the protection plan.

Use the product according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Report any problems as soon as they appear in order to prevent further damage.

Do not attempt to repair the product yourself or by an unauthorized third party without prior agreement.

3. Definitions

SUP Montréal+ Extended Warranty Plan: service contract offering an additional year of coverage.

Product: the board, pump, paddle or any other covered item indicated on the purchase invoice.

Client: the registered owner of the covered product.

Coverage period: twelve (12) months following the end of the manufacturer's warranty.

Manufacturing defect: any internal flaw resulting from a design, assembly or material problem recognized by the manufacturer or SUP Montréal.

4. What is covered

This plan covers, during the coverage period:

Manufacturing or material defects affecting product performance or safety.

Problems with the structure, gluing or stitching on inflatable boards.

Welds, valves, handles, or rings exhibiting an original defect.

SUP Montréal reserves the right, at its discretion:

To repair the defective product,

To replace the product with an identical or equivalent model,

Or to issue a credit equivalent to the market value of the product at the time of the claim.

No labor charges will be applied for repairs performed under the plan.

5. What is not covered

The plan does not include:

Accidental damage, shocks, punctures, cuts or abrasions caused by misuse, improper transport, or prolonged exposure to sunlight.

Normal wear and tear, discoloration, stains or cosmetic changes.

Damage resulting from improper inflation, over-pressure, inadequate storage, or unauthorized repairs.

Accessories (bag, pump, paddle, fin, leash) unless otherwise stated.

Losses, thefts or acts of vandalism.

Any indirect damage or loss of use.

6. How to submit a claim

Contact us at info@montrealsup.com, specifying:

Our team will respond within 2 to 5 business days with:

If a return is required, you will be assigned an authorization number. No returns will be accepted without this number.

7. Service Procedures and Limitation of Liability

SUP Montréal may require an in-person or remote inspection before making any decision.

Replacing the product terminates the plan for that product (no automatic renewal).

SUP Montréal's maximum liability is limited to the initial purchase price of the covered product.

The plan is not insurance and does not cover bodily injury, financial losses or other indirect consequences.

8. Cancellation

You can cancel your plan within 15 days of purchase, provided no services have been used. A full refund will then be issued. After this period, no refunds will be given.

SUP Montréal reserves the right to cancel the plan if the conditions are not met (fraud, misuse, etc.).

9. General Conditions

The plan is non-transferable and applies only to the original customer.

It covers only one product per serial number or per invoice.

This plan is valid only in Canada.

In the event of product replacement, the extended warranty ends on the date of replacement.

SUP Montréal reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions without notice for new subscriptions.

10. Legal notices

This protection plan is offered by Boutique SUP Montréal Inc., a company registered in Quebec. It does not replace, but supplements, the legal warranty rights provided by Quebec's Consumer Protection Act. SUP Montréal acts as the provider and administrator of the plan.
