A fast and versatile race board
The Blackfish stands out for its hybrid hull, combining the glide qualities of a race board with excellent acceleration. Its shape favors quick starts, recovery after turns, and speed maintenance.
Infinity has redesigned its nose, which is now higher, thinner, and pointier. It penetrates chop more effectively and improves glide on flat water, while also facilitating progress when paddling into the wind.
Exceptional lightness thanks to carbon construction
At only 9.1 kg for the 14' × 21.5" and 11.3 kg for the 14' × 26", the 2025 Infinity Blackfish stands out for its exceptionally low weight. For comparison, the SIC Maui RST 14' × 26", also designed for competition, weighs 13 kg, which is nearly 1.7 kg more for equivalent dimensions.
This lightness is due to the Team Elite Tech2 Carbon construction, which combines an EPS foam core, a full PVC shell, and carbon fiber lamination. Infinity optimizes the use of composite materials to limit weight while maintaining excellent structural rigidity.
The result is a board that is particularly light to transport, easy to handle, and responsive during acceleration and direction changes. A significant advantage for paddlers looking for performance without being burdened by unnecessary weight.
A Flat Deck for maximum freedom of movement
Unlike race boards with a deeply recessed deck (dugout), the Blackfish Flat Deck prioritizes freedom of movement.
