DELUXE CONSTRUCTION

LIGHTWEIGHT, RIGID AND DURABLE

The Deluxe construction represents Starboard's top-of-the-line inflatable construction, designed to offer greater rigidity and strength while maintaining a contained weight.

Its Fusion Woven Dropstitch provides a particularly rigid structure under pressure, while the 2000D galvanized PVC rails reinforce the sides of the board.

The Welded Rail technology mechanically welds the different layers of PVC together rather than relying solely on glue. This construction creates a completely watertight seam and improves the board's long-term durability.

The new Roll Technology now allows the board to be rolled into a bag that is up to 33% more compact, significantly facilitating storage and transport.

The Touring M 14'0" x 30" is designed for paddlers who are primarily looking for excellent glide and efficiency over long distances.

At 14 feet long and 30 inches wide, it is faster and sportier than the Touring 14' x 32", while retaining enough stability for several hours on the water with gear.

Starboard describes it as the model offering the fastest glide in the Touring range. It is particularly suitable for long outings, sustained tours and paddlers who want to cover more distance with less effort.

Its relatively wide nose provides stability and allows for better passage through chop, while its squarer tail provides a stable platform and facilitates step-back turns.

The narrower central section also allows the paddle to be kept close to the rail and more vertical. This allows the board to maintain its trajectory more easily and requires fewer side changes.

A TOURING BOARD DESIGNED FOR DISTANCE

The balance between glide, stability and load capacity is what characterizes Starboard's Touring range.

The wide nose helps the board pass efficiently through chop and provides greater stability when conditions become less calm. The square tail maintains good seating at the back and allows for easy control of the board during turns.

At 14 feet, the board also maintains its momentum much longer between paddle strokes. This translates into a particularly fluid and efficient glide sensation as the miles accumulate.

RAIL EDGE TECHNOLOGY

The Rail Edge technology creates a cleaner water release at the tail.

Instead of water clinging to the back of the board, it detaches more cleanly, reducing drag and improving the gliding sensation.

OUTLINE SHAPE

The relatively straight outline and narrow central section naturally bring the paddle closer to the rail.

This facilitates more vertical paddling, improves tracking and allows for more speed to be maintained while limiting side changes.

LOADING SYSTEM

Large adjustable bungee cords allow you to easily transport your gear on longer outings.

New metal clips make adjusting the system easier and an additional central bungee helps keep bags and equipment securely in place.

The Touring 14' is particularly interesting for long tours where you need to carry a dry bag, clothing, food or extra equipment.

ROLL TECHNOLOGY – 33% MORE COMPACT BAG

The new three-section foldable fin box allows the board to be rolled rather than folded.

The board can thus be stored in a bag approximately 33% more compact than older generations.

The Roll bag is equipped with wheels and shoulder straps, making it easy to transport by car, for travel or for walks to the launch point.

MULTIPLE CARRY HANDLES

The Touring 14'0" has several handles to simplify its transport, especially when loaded:

• Central handle
• Rear handle
• Nose handle
• Additional handles on the rails near the loading area

It is also equipped with a 2-in-1 carrying strap, practical for carrying the board on your shoulder while keeping your hands free. This strap also allows the paddle to be held on the board when not in use.

HEAT-WELDED RAILS

Every Starboard inflatable board uses Welded Rail technology.

The different layers of PVC are mechanically assembled by heat to form an extremely strong and completely watertight joint.

This technology avoids relying solely on a glued seam and thus reduces the risk of the glue weakening over the years.
